Hello all.
For Wednesday, you are to have read pages 11-16 in The House on Mango Street, and to have completed a Golden Line. The quick re-touch on what a Golden Line is:
•Choose a line from the reading that, for whatever reason, held the most meaning for you.
•Write this line, including the page number on a sheet of paper.
•Explain, in your own words and with as much detail as possible, why you chose this line.
Note: I do not want summary. I know what happens in the story- I want to know why you chose the line.
Also- We'll be having a Vocab quiz on words 11-20 in Unit 10 on Wednesday of next week. Flashcards will be collected then. That said, you might find this site useful in the making of those flashcards. Not a requirement, but something I thought might be useful.
